Alex loved all things dog and he thought the work that the Guide Dogs charity does is amazing; he absolutely loved attending their open days and giving as much as he could. CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) is a charity which supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by young sudden cardiac death. CRY promotes and develops heart screening programmes and funds medical research, in addition to funding specialist referral, screening and cardiac pathology services at leading UK hospitals.
